About Dr Jenna Wa
Dr Jenna Wa is a fully registered GP with a medical degree from the University of Nottingham and over 10 years of NHS experience.
She developed a specialist interest in minor skin surgery through her work in general practice, regularly performing lesion removals. In response to the growing challenges patients face in accessing timely skin treatments, she founded Dr Jenna Wa Skin Surgery to provide expert, accessible care in a private setting.
Dr Wa also has a strong interest in dermatoscopy - a non-invasive technique using a handheld dermatoscope to closely examine skin lesions. This enhances the accuracy of mole assessments and helps identify any potentially concerning changes, giving patients peace of mind.
She is committed to clinical excellence, regularly attending update courses and staying current with best practice. Dr Wa is listed on the GP Register of the General Medical Council (GMC) and is a member of the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care.
Alongside her clinic, she continues to work as an NHS GP in Leicestershire, maintaining close ties to general practice and patient care.
